Hard drive cloning/copy software put somebody through the mill?

Hi

Does anyone know of a flawless but free hard drive cloning/copying download? I'm putting a current large unyielding drive; some of the existing files are corrupted and probably won't copy. I need a piece of software that will skip corrupted files- and MAYBE generate a roll of the bad wallet names...OR at lowest possible one that won't get stuck on the first impossible file.

Any accepted wisdom??

Thanks in mortgage for any help.

Just a suggestion, install and setup the unsullied drive. Then install the old drive as a Slave drive.

Run scandisk on the older drive with the fix errors box checked.

Copy the files you want from the out-of-date drive. The Bad files should no longer be an issue.

Good Luck
You must repair the drive before copying it or you will basically copy the corruption to the new drive. Cloning software is only that, bit for bit copying.
dd will do this for you when you use the noerror flag.
