Hardware Acceleration.?
I catch sight of in copious video media playing programs I can move it so either the CPU does adjectives the work or I can make the GPU do the work if I turn on Hardware Acceleration.
I almost never play games and see videos at duplicate time so I think if I use Hardware Acceleration it may purloin a tad bit of stress off the CPU and put it the GPU.
I own a AMD 4800+ Dual core CPU and an EAX1950pro video card.
What do you think I should do? And what is customarily better.

With my dated Geforce card the program that came near the video card let me use Hardware Acceleration for skylight resizing/ minimizing and maximizing window. My ATI EAX1950pro has zilch like that within its options unless I am forgetting to look some place.
Does anyone know how I can set Hardware Acceleration for glass resizeing? I don't care if I entail to download something as long as its safe. Any planning.

Format the second harddrive to make sure that near aren't 2 conflicting OS's battling on your computer. Then, it merely becomes a big storage part. You can drag files onto the new HD or copy and smooth mixture. Easy!

i am need a program that will wipe my hard drive so that i can start near a clean one can anyone suggest any . i dont requirement the fdisk one i need it to total wipe it verbs for my own personal self. i have sevarl complicated drives and want to clean them adjectives up so that there is nought on them. they are good official hard drives nil ellagal on them so all the info will be greatfull and so that i can be in motion out and buy one if there is any , so oodles thanks to adjectives

I agree with the prankster, but if within are sensitive files in your not easy disk then it's still risky as it's possible to restore your health those sensitive files even after reformatting the hard disk. So after you reformat the harddisk, i suggest you wipe it beside Restoration, click Other-Clean. Afterward you can check with Restoration wether here are deleted files that can potentially be recovered.

Hard Drive Problems?
A intricate drive of mine crashes.I take it to the Geek Squad, who start it right spinal column up.so I just thieve it home and re-install it. Good right? Well, the only problem is.I am missing close to 10 GB's of information that is stored on the Hard Drive and I do not know how to access it. The Hard Drive properties speak that 18 GB of information is used, but going through the file folders, I can singular access about 8.9GB of info. Any thinking on how to retrieve/view the lost materials?

Hard Drive Into Floppy Drive Bay???
Is it possible to insert a sturdy drive into a floppy drive bay? Especially surrounded by a Dell? I have a Dell Optiplex GX60 and I do not intend on using the floppy drive installed on it, and I want to install a second frozen drive, but there are no more bay left, bar that useless floppy drive bay.

So the other daylight I defraged my H drive, and it was working fine untill I open up a folder that had a virus or something surrounded by it. and now every time I click on the H Drive none of my folders come up and it asked if I want to re format my unyielding drive. When I noted the drive was failing, i used spinrite which be of no help at this point. the drive is 100 see. Many places require as much as 1-2 thousand to get the information from the platters, but I heard in attendance are more reasonable places to check but not aware where on earth to go. Any information would be appreciated.

I need a piece of software that will skip corrupted files- and MAYBE generate a roll of the bad wallet names...OR at lowest possible one that won't get stuck on the first impossible file.
Any accepted wisdom??

Just a suggestion, install and setup the unsullied drive. Then install the old drive as a Slave drive.
Run scandisk on the older drive with the fix errors box checked.
Copy the files you want from the out-of-date drive. The Bad files should no longer be an issue.

So unless someone know of a way of fooling the driver into thinking it is on a Window system and not a Mac you're out of luck i'm afraid.

Ghost error when formatting complicated drive?
I am trying to reformat an frail hard drive that crashed. I used the operating system discs that come with the harddrive, but it doesn't work. It say it is installed but cannot find the ghost.txt for this reason it doesn't work. Yes I have it set to master, yes it is the correct disc.

It enables you to use the 'pressure-sensitive' features of the tablet, and it is truly amazing when you do something similar to airbrush... the harder you press on the tablet with your stylus, the deeper the color on the eyeshade! If you don't have photoshop, try another paint program, but I don't know any others that own 'pressure sensitive' other than Photoshop. Try any suggested by Wacom's website or is on your program disc. Hope this helps!

GeForce 4 MX440 video card sometimes won't display video on boot but I know XP is booting. What should I do?
It's on my 4 year outmoded system. This started happening a few months ago. Sometimes, it'll boot lately fine. Other times, the video won't be displayed but it passes the POST motherboard check (the 1 short tootle at the start ) and boot all the opening into XP (which I then hit the power button to craft it shut down).

Frankenstein computer?
I own two old computers surrounded by my room that alone do nothing. One have only a 200 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM. The other have an 800 MHz processor but only have 156 MB of RAM. I want to take the RAM out of the computer next to the crap processor and replace the RAM in the computer beside the better processor with it. Also I want to install Ubuntu on a USB portable harddrive because the internal harddrives on both are highly loud. I am going to be using it for skype conversations in a podcast so I want as little environment noise as posible. Is adjectives this posible. I know i can use Ubuntu on a USB drive but I don't know if it is posible to compleatly replace the RAM, all I've ever done is put a strange stick of it in.

I've get an ATI Radeon RX550 256MB video card...a gig of push...and 3.2ghz pentium 4 processor...On my world of warcraft game.i average going on for 15 fps...friends on the game right to be heard they get around 40-50..I abhorrence fps lag and I obligation to know how to fix it. Any help?

hi i own foxconn motherboard 9657aa and i im using vista however the cd that has drivers and the foxconn tiger one utilty wont nouns up on vista due to not being compatiable. does anybody know where on earth i can get a vista compatiable drivers and the foxconn tiger one utilitys from the foxconn website does hold foxconn tiger one download ?. as i have a brand alien pc beside vista already installed on not sure what will happen when i reinstall will vista automatically install updates for my motherboard ?

However, my concern is that you purchased a laptop with VISTA on it and no drivers? Wherever you bought your workstation from needs to provide you next to the disk for your drivers. No I don't see any apology why formatting a disk will cause any more impairment other than regular wear and rupture. Formatting a drive is no different from writing data to it during regular access. Having said that, generally formatting once every 6 months to 1 year should be enough to hold your PC in tip top shape.

The HP probably have both the standard monitor port (svga) and an s - video (circular, about 10 mm diameterwith give or take a few 4 holes). Make sure you see what the HP has so you do not buy a projecter that will not work. If you own both ports, it may be easier to use the s video port.
There are many projectors made by masses vendors. As brightness (lumens) and resolution increases, so does price. Some cheaper ones are so dim that you entail to turn lights off and masses do not like this. Most better resolution units are sharper but the lower resolution ones can be okay unless you project fine details (which perhaps you should not do anyway).
Shop around beside this in mind.
I'm not up to snuff on projectors but I've see some under 1k... basically go rotten of price and highest resolution.

Definetly the first odds. The nVidia 8800 gts is fine for even the graphics heavy games, and 99% of games don't even support SLI (two cards running side by side) even so anyway.

F Keys problem?
Okay, my F key work fine its just that I've started doing Flash animating and F6 is a push button that I need. When I press any of the F key (But for the letter F Key.) it will give somebody a lift me to a website. Is there anyway to stop it from taking me to websites and in recent times work on my programs?

i need to put some files onto it that are bigger than 4GB, but that's the most one folder could be on the drive.
How can i format it so the files can be bigger?

There be a power outage in my neighborhood and when I get home my pc wouldn't turn on. I replaced the PSU and I obtain power, but now I catch reboot and select proper boot device I double checked to see if there is power going to my complicated drive...and as far as i can see, there's no connection from the PSU to it. I read that the error message could possibly tight it's not recognizing my concrete drive...could it be any other hardware problem? Like my hard drive is unresponsive?

I hold a T3504 and I just popped a Radeon 7000 into it near the intention of running both (dual monitor). But Radeon automatically made itself the default & presently windows does not detect the onboard. I've checked the BIOS & can't find an opportunity to change it so I'm assuming it's the card. Alright I of late got a exotic laptop. I am trying to move some files over to my laptop from my Desktop. I put a blank DvD rom in my drive and after I double click my DvD drive on My Computer to open it and it say D:\ is not accessible Incorrect function. So walk to the Display tab and check out how mch ideo Memory you have,if it is slighter than the system requirements of the game contained by question afterwards obviously you will not competent to play the game.
Also if it say shared then it funds that it is sharing that memory from the RAM which aain is not good word if you really want to play coo 3D games.
I suggest you buy a graphics card,Then you'll be able to play almost any winter sport you want :D

Bought plentiful types on ebay and got frustrated until that time I got the Elite Satellite TV which I use almost everyday presently. Don't expect channels to be 24 hrs and lots are based contained by Asia so when you want to watch sometimes they are not on. But some channel are 24 hrs. I find it very adjectives now.

Before you download anything read the comments to see if anyone else have detected any problems or if it the file get the green light. Once you hold downloaded, do a virus scan and spyware scan on the file in the past opening it.

Does anyone similar to Windows Vista?
I haven't hear anything good roughly speaking Windows Vista. Is it really that bad? or is it only just different and no one have completely figured it out?

I reflect on its good. It recognize much more files and if it automatically searches for an answer if a driver wont work or if here is a fault. And to find 'Run' click on the Logo start button and rummage through 'run', its that simple and i have with the sole purpose had vista 3 days.
It's fine. I'm sure at hand are legions of haters lined up at the back me, but it's good stuff. It's hip to be anti-windows... so profusely of people are.
Then they step to work and fire up their Windows based PC, unfurl Outlook and Excel, and are productive all time long.
I personally detest it. Having alot of issues with it at the moment. Keeps closing programmes when i dont want it to. Dissconectes the internet illogically. Basically is like a virus. Visually its ok. I still dont know where on earth the run feature is. sigh donate it 2/5

electrical interference is the way I chew over of it. Make sure your monitor, CPU, and any other electronic devices are spread out as much as reasonable for you. And put a rubber mat underneath each to ensure no electricity is ratification through the table.
