Does this nouns logical?

Would anyone here buy a Core 2 Quad at 2.4Ghz for $540 or a core 2 extreme at 2.66Ghz for $980 and the processing speed is the just difference.

Does this nouns logical?

260 Mhz difference is nothing, you won't even grain a ripple. Definately not worth almost the double cost that's for sure. You can't even notice the difference. Since your computer can solitary run as fast as your slowest component later processor speed doesn't really play a big factor at all. The means of access computers depreciate you will be ready for a untried one and would have save a lot of money to do so next to the 2.4Ghz model.
$540.00 almost no difference you wll see.
The difference in speed probably won't be as great as the difference contained by price. Go with the $540 processor. It's the better but per Mhz.
Maybe yes or perchance no. They do not function alone. You have to analyze the intact system (RAM, HDD, etc) keeping in mind your desire. If you only want to type contained by reports or stay on IM none makes sense. You can buy a laptop for smaller number than the lowest price.
If you want to work faster, then you will hold to pay the price for that. So, in actuality, it is up to you to make a upright decision when it comes to select a faster processing machine or a slower one. Yet, it is far better to work near speed and accuracy.
