I call for to know if I can use the Microsoft Media Center Remote in XP Pro. Don't respond if you are merely guessing I would like to hear from someone certainly using it in XP.

Yes ... if you install the proper drivers.

Will it hold out all impossible to tell apart functions ... NO WAY.



All it will do is PLAY, PAUSE, & STOP as well as controll volume.



The device itself is made by Hauppauge . so long as you own the correct driver for the IR receiver AND the TV card after some functioonality will be there.
