Fsb and memory bus speed?

what determines the fsb speed and the memory bus speed? the processor or the motherboard?

Fsb and memory bus speed?

The motherboard detects the processor and sets the FSB for it. Many motherboards allow overclocking the processor by letting the user increase the FSB or multiplier. Increasing the FSB also effects the memory...buy correct memory if you are going to do this.
Short answer is motherboard.
