a 2900xt does it work next to a canadian or usa computer
Does a european graphics card work beside a computer assembled surrounded by canada or usa?
In the main it should work. Motherboard volatages, PCI Express and ATX power supply voltages are standard throughout the world. Also VGA & DVI connectors are standard throughtout so you should know how to install this card into a US PC and connect to a PC monitor quite joyfully,
The thing that might not work correctly is the TV out as Europe uses a 625 chain system @50Hz scan with a different method of ecnoding the colour, however some cards run dual system through driver software. If NTSC is not supported after you install the card using the TV out try downloading a US journal of the driver.
If you don't plan to connect your PC to the TV then this shouldn't be a problem.
Incidentally not adjectives card manufacturers donate the TV out to their version of the ATI 2900XT card, so the card your looking at may not even enjoy that function.
The graphic card should not situation where it is intended for. A graphics card should be able to be used surrounded by any PC or Mac computer. The only difference between the US and European market in regard to consumer electronics is with video output. Europe uses the PAL standard and the Americas use the NTSC standard. Those standards are for transmitting analog video signals, transmitting on a slightly different signal.
The ATI x2900 PCIe from Europe will work within your computer, and should work with your monitor.
Yes, it will work.
