How angelic is that for gaming? Is there any other graphics cards you would recommend?
GeForce XFX 8600GTS XXX?
They say-so that the Geforce XFX 8600GTS is equivalent to the 7600gs but with direct x 10.If directx 10 is not that significant to you i would suggest the ATI Radeon x1950pro which is better then the geforce 7900gs and it is a moment or two cheaper then the 8600gts xxx.If direct x 10 is hugely important to you i would suggest waiting till the price of 8600gts or the 8800 series come down.If you do not enjoy windows vista and are not planning to buy one near is no good point to buy the 8600gts because you need vista to know how to use dx10.And plus as soon as Directx 10 games will be popular and when nearly every gamer should have a dx10 video cards within will be new dx10 illustrative cards.So i would suggest get an affordable dx9 card that will later you a year or two and wait for the price of dx10 cards to plunge.I'd say the 8600gts xxx is 7/10 for gaming and 9/10 for movies.Good luck.
