okay, i enjoy an led desk light laying around here somewere and i want to put it on the front of my computer as a power lead light, see i enjoy a custom computer with a gigabyte technology baggage, ya its unheard of cus its japaneese or sumthin, its sweet though, anyways, i want to put the led muted on the front as power led standard lamp cus like i can one and only tell if my computer is on if i run to the left side wher i can see the inside wher the fan are that light up, but how would i put a lead light on the front, (NOTE) this lead light have no cords at all, it purely has the negativ and positive prong on it, resembling where would i connect the standard lamp to where i can achieve some power that is protected?
Computer lead lights?
You will have to connect the LED to one of the power routes surrounded by your motherboard. But i am afraid that could cause a power surge because you will want some resistors and wires to regulate the amount of power needed for the LED...
You can't just plug your LED to the computer and receive it lighted. You can try soldering the power-up LED which is getting on along with yours.
There are lot of products available which can capture lighted using USB.
