Could i use the restore discs of my window xp home edition variation 2001 on a reworked copy 2003 to dosystem restore your health
I am going to take a guess here, since I believe the answer is going to be one and the same anyway. Most larger system builders encode their software to work only on the intended model to which it is installed originally. What this method is that if you put the CD into the drive, it will explain to you that it is not the proper vesion for the system you are trying to install it on. A good example of this is Compaq, which encodes every compact disc with the model and year. If you place it into a different model or year, it will not work. These larger manufacturer have be using this as a way to protect their license rights, by disallowing inhabitants from sharing the disks like we adjectives did with Win98.
Hope this help
Simple answer is NO coding of disk will not allow it ,sorry
