my t2040 emachines cpu be in storage for a while. i took it out and plug it contained by and it did not make a nouns or any light turn on. so i thought it is due to the power supply. so i bought one 350 watts Dynex and plugged everything within. the cpu fan turned on and it the light/button infront turned on. immediately here's the dilemma...
the button/light remains lighted and can't be pressed or hold to restart. The cd drive does not open when i press the compact disc OPEN button as well. and it seem like the monitor can't find the cpu. the monitor isn't the problem since it works when i connect it to the laptop. is it conceivably the way i plugged everything within or the motherboard etc needs to be replaced?
Cpu won't start?
Sounds approaching you may have switched a couple of wires around and enjoy something installed improperly.
The power for the cd should be at hand if it is plugged into a power connector from the power supply correctly which should only plug surrounded by one way lacking being forced
The motherboard is probably alright I enjoy upgraded many a computer that someone have thought was deceased and just removed adjectives installed components cleaned and reinstalled them where I intuitively know things are supposed to be, there are may empire locally that would probably help you out.
Without looking at it it will be unyielding for anyone to accurately tell you exactly what you own done wrong.
SO then how are you askng this OO
only re start again and press f5 and go on protected mode start
