My cable modem have overheating problem, which slowed the connection speed, so sometimes I place it contained by the freezer for a while to cool it down and everytime I did that the speed would pick up for at least 6~7 hours. The entity is, the modem suddenly stopped working. I wonder it I broke it by putting it in the freezer.
Did Freezer break my cable modem?
You know how when you own a cool drink and you leave it out contained by the hot sun for a while it gets adjectives sweaty and wet on the outside? It's greatly possible this happened near your modem and it got moisture surrounded by it when it cooled down.
Yes the rapid heat changes would snuff out it. The only channel to prevent that is to agree to the modem get rear to room temperature past you turned it on. Why didn't you just own your cable company come out to replace the thing?
