DirectX 10 enabled video cards...?

Does anyone own a DX10 enabled nvidia card, and if so what do you muse? Furthermore, does anyone have any understanding of ati's dx10 videocard or when we may see it?

DirectX 10 enabled video cards...?

Just read the reviews at extremetech.com

There's no software to justify DX10 cards so far.

ATI's X2xxx series will hit stores soon.
DirectX 10 video card grant full support for DirectX 9.

Take a look at the major difference contained by picture quality between the two DirectX version here. You must have Vista to use DirectX 10.

I catch sight of each month a increase surrounded by the number of DirectX 10 cards at newegg.com . Currently 1/4 of the X16 cards are DirectX 10 compatible. By this time next year I expect almost adjectives cards will support DirectX 10.
