How do I find out what nouns card I have within my computer and how to download the proper driver for it

go to dell website and enter your computer code(from down you will see sticker with some close to: 1Q16543A)

Support section, downloads and drivers.
jump to My computer right click /then choose properties/ choose hardware/choose device manager/the scroll down to sound and activity controllers,your sound card should be nominated I think 3rd on the detail,just right click on it and update driver ,this will install the needed driver for it.

P.S. : when the box comes up choose do it from the internet.
Right click My Computer - Proprieties - Device Manager double click Audio devices.
