I enjoy an Acer laptop. I installed ubuntu on it and that runs fine. But now Windows won't start up. It go to a recovery blind and resets. I tried the recovery discs I own and nothing. I amount the only process to get window to work again is to remove the partitions, but the ubuntu disc I used to install and screen can only create partition, not the other way around. Any accepted wisdom?
Disk Partitioning beside Ubuntu?
You can use the Gparted bootable CD to inspect and possibly modify/create your partition
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/...
I've also included a link to a devout article which describes how to setup a dual-boot starting with Vista and accumulation Linux. If you're running some other version of Windows, I'd recommend looking for another more specific XP/Linux How to.
Try to dual boot disk . . .
