Core 2 Duo?

I am looking to buy a Core 2 Dou cpu but I own no clue what is a good one. I own heard that the e6400 is well-mannered but not sure, would like some minister to on this.

I don't no how much your looking at spending but you could get a e6600 which is a quad core CPU (more the better thats what i vote :P) Its faster than the e6400, has more cores and is not much more expensive. A spur-of-the-moment look on www.froogle.com will show you the price differance. But thats my suggestion e6600
