Cordless Desktop Keyboard/Mouse - Do these work very well?

My Mom with good cheer bought a new cordless desktop the ivories with optical mouse (Logitech). We solitary use this computer for internet surfing, the digital camera and playing pinball or card games. In other words, not heavy usage. My sister say she should take it put money on, because wireless technology is crap (slow response) and is a security risk. She have never even used one. What is your experience with it?

Cordless Desktop Keyboard/Mouse - Do these work very well?

Hi. Your sister is confusing wireless devices near wireless internet. Your mouse will use batteries fastest because you use it almost constantly. The grand piano will last a long time. I use both and would never jump back.
From my experience it works resourcefully. Only biggest problem I have next to this is battery energy! You have to keep hold of buying or recharging battery for wireless mouse/keyboard. So I stopped using it.

Otherwise less wires, it better.
I didn't try the wireless upright, because I tried several wireless mice and hated the delay in response. But I know others who are immaculately happy using them -- to respectively his own!
